AKB Hub 718

The CAT Akbar (AKB) is a multi-caliber .30 caliber suppressor designed for use across a wide range of rifle platforms, including direct impingement, piston-driven, bolt-action, and modern semi-automatic systems. Engineered as a versatile suppressor rather than a platform-specific solution, the AKB is compatible with cartridges up to .300 Winchester Magnum and is optimized for .30 caliber centerfire rifle applications. Its internal SBX architecture is designed to manage gas flow and pressure across varying barrel lengths and operating systems, making it suitable for both precision shooting and hard-use rifle configurations.

Available in either Titanium (Ti-CAT) or Inconel 718 construction, the AKB can be configured with a 1.375x24 HUB mounting interface or CAT’s 1x16LH Quick Detach (QD) system. The suppressor features a durable PVD finish and is optimized around the performance characteristics of a 16-inch SR-25 platform. With options for lightweight titanium construction or enhanced durability with Inconel 718, the AKB offers flexibility for a variety of shooting applications and rifle setups.
